Christmas Augmented Reality Stickers

Holiday-themed stickers bring interactive digital characters to life when scanned through AR app

Augmented reality Sticker by Mardles

THE GOAL

  • Add an extra element of entertainment to stickers
  • Mardles is known for creating fun play experiences for children and families to enjoy. Amongst other products, they offer over 60 amazing stickers to collect. From their themed Christmas stickers to mermaids and unicorns to tractors and dinosaurs, the company wanted to add an interactive layer to their products to further entertain and extend the playing experience.

    THE SOLUTION

  • Image Tracking Augmented Reality Technology
  • AR app: Mardles [ Google PlayApp Store ]

By using the free Mardles augmented reality app, children can STICK, SCAN and INTERACT with the 4D AR sticker line. With Wikitude Image Tracking technology, each scanned sticker magically comes to life and users can take control of their favourite character using the on-screen arrows.

App users can also capture and share all their magical memories using the photo and selfie modes. The Mardles AR app requires no registration, no data capture and no in-app purchases. Once installed, users don’t even need Wi-Fi or mobile connection to enjoy the fun!

    Why Wikitude ?

“The Wikitude SDK has allowed us to create an AR framework within the Mardles app which recognises and delivers multiple types interactions with our toys.
This has lead to an award-winning platform and allowed huge creativity in the types of new products we are able to take to market which is an exciting development proposition.

Not only is the Wikitude system best in class, it covers the largest number of devices and it very well supported.”.
