Interactive augmented reality dictionary for children
Over 100 illustrations come to life, helping kids better understand and memorize new vocabulary during English lessons.
Fun Study is an educational book for kids that strives to make learning interesting and exciting. As modern-day children have an early and keen interest in digital technologies and games, the company wanted to incorporate AR functionality into the book to bring characters and illustrations to life.
After downloading the free Fun Study Interactive AR app, children use their smart device camera to scan select illustrations inside the book that will then trigger the AR experience. Static 2D images transform into 3D animations, helping students better understand the new vocabulary and its context.
In the augmented reality dictionary, there are eight topics related to different areas of everyday life: food, clothing, home, family, etc. All threads are made up of hundreds of words with unique illustrations, idioms, poems, and proverbs related to the topic. Children are entertained by the AR functionality while expanding their vocabulary with new words, expressions, and proverbs.
