Accenture wowed executive attendees at Inclusion & Sustainability awards event with immersive AR content

THE GOAL

  • Offer an engaging experience for attendees

The Supplier Inclusion & Sustainability Awards needed a wow-factor to captivate C-level attendees and showcase Accenture as a great partner to enable new technology. The company’s goal was to create an interactive and innovative experience to help executives get inspired and feel connected with the Accenture brand and its commitment to diversity and global partnerships.

Reality Matters and AP42 created a unique event experience for an awards event which included mailed invitations instructing invitees to download a customized augmented reality (AR) app on their phone.
Once downloaded the invitee could interact with the direct mail through an AR video, which included an augmented digital link to register for the event.

At the event, attendees used the app to interact with life-size banners around the venue. When scanned, awardees on the banners would come to life through an AR video.

The AR solution garnered 524 AR impressions during the event held for 100 exclusive attendees.
