Unity SDK flash deal: 399€ for Indie Developers – OFFER EXPIRED

It’s been a long ride since 2008 when the world saw the first augmented reality app on mobile. Now, almost 10 years later, AR is finally living its long awaited moment.

As pioneers in this industry, Wikitude’s primary mission has been to provide world-class tools that developers can use to build amazing AR experiences. This means our focus has been on creating an AR SDK that is easy to use, cross-platform and available in a variety of development frameworks and APIs.

In 2015, we introduced support for Unity, which very quickly became one of our most popular SDKs. Wikitude’s Unity plugin is unique for its robustness and for the variety of features it includes, such as SLAM-based markerless AR, object recognition, simultaneous recognition and tracking of single and multiple targets, plugins API, and more.

Fast forward two years, Unity now represents a huge chunk of our downloads, and its popularity boomed after the Wikitude SDK was awarded 2017’s ‘Best Developer Tool’ at AWE USA. But as our Unity community increased, so did the amount of very enthusiastic indie developers who would love to use Wikitude, however, couldn’t because of our license model.

We heard you fellow dev, and here’s how we’re going to solve this.
