Software Engineering: Android/iOS Development (Internship)

Wikitude has an immediate opening for an internship for software engineering with the specialization Android/iOS development who will work directly on Wikitude’s core products. As a member of the Wikitude SDK Engineering team you will be trusted to create solutions for various areas of the augmented reality SDK. Including Unity3D, 3D rendering pipeline, Android M/iOS 9 development, cross-platform app development tools.

The position will have the added benefit of working with a young, dynamic and highly experienced team in the flexible environment of an emerging startup.

As an ideal candidate you have:

  • A passion for software development and using cutting edge technologies.
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Programme
  • Applied and proven experience in developing software
  • First experience in development for mobile operating systems

Answering “Yes” to one or more of the following statements will be considered a plus:

  • Experience in 3D render engines
  • I have already done app development on Android or iOS
  • I have a strong passion for apps and development for mobile platforms and keep myself updated on the latest and greatest in tools and methodologies.

Successful candidates will be highly motivated, self-driven and willing to work on-site in Salzburg for a minimum of 4 months to achieve project and company goals. You will have a strong desire to learn new technologies and work on cutting edge technology. Applicants from the European Union are encouraged to apply!

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum starting salary for this position: EURO 16.366 per year (gross), with the potential for higher salary depending on qualifications and experience.

This position is based in Wikitude’s HQ office in Salzburg, Austria.
