Hello, i cant install your application. I got an message: “invalid packet file” on my HTC Desire Froyo 2.2 screen. I have downloaded from the official market site in Germany. The HTC Desire is not listed on the compatibility list of your Homepage. It is possible that this app is not functional on this Mobile?

    Greetings
    El Tiburon

  2. Nicola says:

    Hi,
Could you please give me more information what happens when you download the application. The HTC desire is a supported handset (we corrected the supported handset page already) and there should not be any problems with the download from the market.
    Thx
    Nicola

  3. Nicola says:

    Hi,
Unfortunately the X6 does not have the digital compass which Wikitude requires. Thus we are not able to support it.

    Katrin

    Again Samsung i8910 :
I would love to use this fantastic program on my i8910 device, but so far I am failing – always with a full crash and necessity to remove the battery. I have tried it numerous times and scanned all related websites. My device is NOT hacked, original updated firmware, only some useful programs – nothing special. And I don’t want to use the hacked Qt’s which fly around, needing certification via some dubious sites…
I’m installing Wikitude to the C:drive – installation works normal but without final message after install. The program can be started, it is searching for position – tells it can’t find position when I’m inside, is asking (twice) for server connection and accepts WLAN. Shows the Overview page but it appears still trying to connect via WAP too (which it can’t reach because I’m uncovered area). After a first entry in the overview page the phone freezes completely – no error message. The list of related installed programs ist appended below – would very much appreciate your advice !

    Thanks in advance !

i ve installed the apk to htc desire 2.2 and when i run it ,after getting a gps signal,i get the message ‘could not authenticate on server’.

do you know why this happens?

  7. Nicola says:

    Hi Aris,

  8. Wolfgang says:

    Hi Herbert,

I do not see anything wrong with the things installed. Have you tried uninstalling all the above mentioned packages and reinstall Wikitude (it will install all the above libraries). Are you using the latest firmware. We have a few reports that the earlier firmwares do not play well with Qt. It might also be possible that we are running out of memory and do not handle this correctly. Are any other programs running at the same time? Try closing all other running apps and run Wikitude again.

    Cheers, Wolfgang

  9. Hemp Invader says:

Hello everyone! I own a Sony Ericsson U5 (a.k.a. “Vivaz”) and I’m unable to start the application after installing. The device warned such application is not compatible with the phone, however I have applications that where not supposed to be compatible and those still work. Just like a few people, the “Installation complete” message did not appear after installing the dependencies, that was the first bad sign. The package is different from the one offered here, I guess it includes the dependencies so that the user doesn’t have to download them (the size was about 8MB).
I’ve also tried the application on this URL, and everything cracks up when the Nokia Smart Installer tries to do whatever it does on the installation process.
The device is not hacked, before installing the applications I sign them with SignSIS GUI using OPDA Cert and Key.
Please make the application compatible with Sony Ericcson devices like Vivaz and Satio! Congratulations for such fine work to all developers.

  10. Alejandro Maderna says:

I have a Sony Ericsson U5 or also known as Vivaz.
After the installation, the application wouldn’t start.
All the dependencies were installed, however it crashes before starting.
    Help please!
