Mit Wikitude 4 haben Nutzer ab sofort die Möglichkeit ihre Inhalte in Augmented Reality verfügbar zu machen. Dafür braucht man kein Programmierer zu sein! Die kurze Beschreibung erklärt, welcher “Content-Typ”man ist und wie man ganz einfache seine eigenen “Points of Interest” in Wikitude verfügbar macht:
Content Typ 1:
Sie möchten die Lieblingsbar oder das neue Geschäft um die Ecke in Wikitude anzeigen?
Unter wikitude.me können einzelne Lieblingspunkte ganze einfach eingezeichnet werden. Mit Ihrem Twitter-, Yahoo-, Google oder Facebook-Account anmelden und die eigenen “POI” Liste editieren.
Geo-tagging ist momentan nur über die online Plattform möglich. Demnächst kann man aber auch vom Handy aus direkt vor Ort Punkte einzeichnen.
Content Typ 2:
Sie haben bereits eine ganze Reihe von POI’s da Sie Informationen wie Adresse, Bilder und Beschreibungen Ihrer favorisierten Plätze sammeln Zum Beispiel eine Museums-Route für einen verregneten Tag, alle Veranstaltungsorte in Ihrer Umgebung oder eine Sammlung von gemütlichen Plätzen für ein Picknick in deinem Ort.
Unter wikitude.me kann eine Liste von POIs in Form eines KLM Files (Google Earth Format) oder ARML hoch geladen werden. (ARML
(ARML – Markup Language für Augmented Reality Anwendungen, die auf KML basiert). Am einfachsten kann eine KML Datei über Google Earth erstellt werden: Punkte in Google Earth einzeichnen und als KML Datei exportieren!
Content Typ 3:
Sie haben bereits eine Vielzahl an Inhalten und bieten auch dynamische Informationen an wie beispielsweise Nachrichten, Spielzeiten von Kinos, Veranstaltungskalender, (Produkt-)Sonderangebote, etc.

What is the maximum number of files(entries) per world?

You can have as many entries as you like. When we query your World we will deliver the nearest 50 entries to a given user location. If you need further information, just contact me.

I upload the cojntent by type 1& type2…
1.I add individual Points via Google Maps,Just copy & paste the description from the website(www.taroko.gov.tw )!But doesn’t have the Chinese language can choose….
2.I add the mountain peaks KML(UTF-8) from GIS layers.The file can show right codes in Chinese…I share the KML for YOU!

I’m trying to use a private kml file wich i regularly use with google earth to wikitude.me
I have always the same error message that says that :
Icon is of wrong content type. Supported content types: image/png.
I tried with dozen of icons (32×32 transparent files.png self made or downloaded from internet) and the message is always the same. Where can i find an example of working icon ?

Hi Rony,
Wikitude Server provides your content to all Wikitude Clients nearby your listed POIs. This requires clients/user to have Wikitude World Browser installed on their Smartphone (iPhone 3Gs, 4.., Android, Bada, Symbain…) & use it near your POIs.
